We are an expert team of engineers and environmental specialists in asbestos consultancy and management, surveys and other related services.

Objetivos

Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a la detección e identificación de amianto en cualquier edificación o material de construcción para su posterior análisis diagnóstico, evaluación de riesgos y recomendaciones para su tratamiento, retirada
o eliminación.

Somos un equipo de Ingenieros y Licenciados en Medio Ambiente con 20 años de experiencia en asesoramiento y gestión especializada del amianto, inspecciones y otros servicios relacionados.

Legislación

Trabajamos conforme a la Norma española UNE 171370-2 sobre localización y diagnóstico de amianto en la realización de inspecciones de amianto, garantizando todas las medidas de seguridad, para lo que contamos con inspectores acreditados.

Objectives

Our objective is to assist in the detection and identification of asbestos-containing materials ACMs in any building or construction for subsequent analysis, risk assessment and treatment or removal recommendations.

Legislation

Our surveys are being carried out to locate and diagnose the presence of asbestos-containing materials and evaluate the associated risks in accordance with the Spanish Standard UNE 171370-2, guaranteeing all safety measures, by expert personnel with the necessary accreditations.

What kind of material is asbestos ?

The term asbestos comes from the Greek word “asbestos” and means indestructible.
The fact that asbestos has been used as a component of building materials for over 100 years, nowadays asbestos-containing materials are present in many buildings and installations, such as asbestos cement roofs, drainpipes, pipe insulations and water tanks.

Asbestos can cause serious respiratory diseases such as asbestosis, lung and larynx cancer and mesotheliomas, but its effects are not felt until 20 to 30 years after being exposed.
The WHO warns that around 107,000 workers worldwide will die each year due to occupational exposure to asbestos.

One of the problems in dealing with asbestos is that it can be quite difficult to identify which materials contain asbestos and which do not. The only way to be sure that a certain material contains asbestos is by means of an analysis in an authorized laboratory. At BUREAU AMIANTO CONTROL we specialise in detecting this asbestos and proposing solutions to eliminate the associated risks.

At BUREAU AMIANTO CONTROL we only work with laboratories that are accredited and have a great deal of experience in asbestos analysis.
